Whether your bladder is urgent, leaking or you are frequently running to the bathroom, the loss of bladder control is embarrassing for anyone. Whether you are recently post partum, had a recent hysterectomy or just realizing your bladder control is diminishing, CTS therapists can help. Your therapist will assess posture, strength, coordination, tissue integrity and visceral mobility. You then begin a comprehensive treatment plan which may include a home exercise program, dietary and toileting changes, release of scar tissue/muscle tension, and perhaps electrical stimulation and/or biofeedback. The goal of treatment is to reconnect your mind to your muscles and therefore regain control of bladder function.
